
Winner in Science on March 28th, 2010
Caroline, a senior, is a top student and excellent leader. She holds a 4.3866 weighted grade point average and scored 29 on the ACT. At the end of her freshman year, she was selected for the accelerated science program. She took Honors Chemistry in 10th grade, AP Biology and AP Chemistry in the 11th grade and Honors Anatomy and Physiology in the 12th grade. Caroline is extremely centered on her daily responsibilities and long-range plans of becoming a pre-medicine major. She has made the Dean's List for six semesters, received Summa Cum Laude designation (4.0 GPA or higher), and received Scholar-Athlete Awards (3.0 GPA or higher while playing two sports). Caroline is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. She received "Outstanding Performer" Awards in Physical Science, Honors Algebra II, Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Chemistry. She has been a member of the Key Club for four years. She currently serves as vice-president of the Pep Club and as a Student Ambassador, a position selected by the faculty. For the past four years, Caroline has been a member of the St. Agnes varsity soccer team that won the 2009 state championship. She was selected to the Best of Preps for soccer this year and to regional, state and All-Tournament Teams. She also is a member of the regional Olympic Development Soccer program. Caroline has passed on her love for soccer by coaching younger girls the last four years. Caroline is the perfect role model for these 8-year-olds. They listen to and watch "Coach C" while they improve and develop new soccer skills. Caroline also volunteers at First Works and for various service projects at St. Louis Catholic Church. The University of Tennessee recruited Caroline to play college soccer and she accepted.
