Chiquita, a senior, is an outstanding student and community servant. She holds a 4.2 weighted grade point average. Since middle school, Chiquita has taken honors classes. She always puts academics first and strives to do her best work on every assignment. Last year, she received an award for being the top English student. Chiquita has been inducted into the National Honor Society and is an active member of the Student Council. In this role, she and other students work to make a difference in school life. They come up with positive activities and causes to support. In addition, Chiquita is an active community volunteer. She has volunteered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots and Cleaner Communities. She works as a volunteer secretary and babysits for free. She also serves as a volunteer at breast cancer walks and car washes. She offers her time at her church, James Road Church of Christ. Most recently, she has begun tutoring for free. If someone needs help, Chiquita is one of the first people to step up and get involved. Since she can be counted on, more and more people call on her. She simply enjoys serving others, giving back to the community and making life a little easier for those in need.
