Brooke Terry - St. Agnes Academy

Brooke, a senior, is an exceptional student and community servant. She holds a 4.8631 weighted grade point average and scored 32 on the ACT. She has balanced a challenging academic course load in a college preparatory program. She was named a National Merit Commended Student. Brooke currently is taking four Advanced Placement classes and has been named an AP Scholar for her scores on AP exams. Brooke received an Honors Scholarship for receiving the top High School Placement Test score as an entering freshman. She has earned a spot on the Summa Cum Laude Dean's List for three years. She received awards for the highest averages in physical science, World History I, health and chemistry. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society. Brooke is the co-president of the Upper School Honor Council. In addition, she is a School Ambassador, a selective senior organization. She is a four-year member of the Key Club. As a junior, she was a founding member of LAMBS, the library ambassadors' organization, and also served with the Student Government Association as the Commissioner of Service. For the past four years, Brooke has been an active member of the theatre department, working as part of the stage crew and then becoming the "master" of lighting for all the productions. Brooke has earned more than 458 hours of service during her high school career. Organizations that have benefitted from her time and talents include: Christ United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School, the Cordova Library, the Cooper Young Festival Children's area, St. Agnes Junior High's Model UN group, the school summer camp, the Second Grade Christmas Pageant, Service Over Self and First Works.
