Winner in General Scholarship on January 1st, 2012
Rebecca, a senior, is an excellent student who maintains a 4.0 unweighted grade point average while participating in many activities. She scored a 32 on the ACT and is president of the National Honor Society. She also is chaplain of the Student Council and treasurer of the Crown Club of Tipton County, a community service organization. An outstanding scholar, Rebecca has taken 12 hours of Dual Enrollment Courses. She received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence and was named to Girls State. She participated in the TOTAL Youth Leadership program. She is a member of the Gold Honor Roll and was the ACT Prep Science, Reading and English Honors Night winner. She is a member of the Future Farmers of America 3.0 Club and is the soprano section leader in the school’s choir. She has been named All-West Tennessee for the past four years. Rebecca helps produce the school’s C-TV programs and is in charge of the college section for the news show. She volunteers for the Carl Perkins Center and helped build a playground at Cobb-Parr Memorial Park.
