
Winner in Art on January 22nd, 2012
Zach, a senior, is a top student and an enthusiastic artist. He is called “the face of art” at Bolton High School. He holds a 4.075 weighted grade point average and is ranked in the top 20 of his senior class. Because of his interest in design and 3D Art, the school’s art department offered a 3D art class this year. Ranked in the top 7% of his class, Zach has earned membership in National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. He was named “Senior Superlative” by his peers. He was asked to create a painting for Memphis International Airport’s global audience. As president of HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America, Zach has competed in and placed in regional and state competitions in Medical Reading and Pharmacology. He also is the layout and photography editor for the school newspaper, The Paw Print. Zach actively participates in sales to raise money for the Youth Build of Habitat for Humanity and has helped build a house. He also volunteers at Manna House. Zach plans to pursue a college major in Fine Arts.
