Aaron Davis - Tipton-Rosemark Academy

Aaron, a senior, is an outstanding student who has an exceptional drive and determination to succeed. He holds a 4.0 unweighted grade point average and scored 30 on the ACT. He held the highest grade point average in his class from freshman through his junior years. Aaron has been inducted into the National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society. He helped start a peer-tutoring group in the school's Chemistry I class last year. This group was beneficial to the teacher and to the students who were struggling with new and difficult chemistry concepts. Aaron also is a member of the Student Council, Spanish Club, Bible Club, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions). Aaron was selected for the People to People Student Ambassador Program and traveled to Australia with this group. Student Ambassadors represent their schools, communities, states, and countries while traveling abroad. They learn about other cultures, engage in fun activities, and meet local citizens. Aaron also is a leader of the Physics Trebuchet Team. He is a very organized student and keeps his teammates motivated and involved. Aaron has been involved in several school plays. He had a lead role in the drama, "Bermuda Triangle Escape." In addition, he has taken a leadership position in the school's "bully prevention program." He has been a voice of encouragement to his fellow students and participated in several skits and dramas used to teach middle school students about how to stand up against bullies. Aaron is also active in his church youth group. He sets a high standard and is a prominent voice representing the student body.
